Inspiration for this series came from my travels to New York and all of the different types of graffiti art that I experienced in the city's different neighborhoods, each with its own unique style and persona.  There's an intentional tangible grittiness on these vessels - my ode to the Big Apple..the city where I had my first art show outside of Kentucky, the city where I felt I was reborn artistically.
